I talked to Stinger in February this year. Then the manager I talked with said that it would take time and money to add superwide Ka detection to DSI. He said also at that time they didnīt have plans to go overseas (because it requires SW Ka band).

Firstly, one should understand that the Stinger DSI Computer is not a radar detector and is therefore capable of many more things than alerting for radar. All this you may have read on www.stinger.com (click on English flag).
As to the Radar Alert function: The Stinger DSI currently scans K and Ka narrow, so not X and not Ka wide band like is used in North America. These frequencies are not programmable.
