Uniden Radar Detectors

I think Uniden has stopped making radar detectors. At least their website does not list them anymore.

Anyone know when they stopped, and maybe why?

I had one years back, a Stalker, 3 bands. Fair RD for that time. Rather than a suction cup mount it had a clip on mount.

Not sure if they ever made a Laser detector - anyone know?

Uniden To Exit Radar Detectors Market By Spring '03 - 12/23/2002 - TWICE

They were supposed to release a GPS with a radar detector addon in the second quarter of '08:
