detector interference on 24ghz band!
on the uk ofcom website a few year ago they tested a number of radar detectors after claim they interfered with sky tv....
the results were that most emitted high levels of interference on the 12ghz band which sky uses hense the picture freezing.....
but also they emitted emissions on the 24ghz band which would interfere with radar equipment...
i dont know wether this would be powerful enough to give false readings!?
or wether this would jam the radar up like it does with the satellite tv?
but this is one of the reasons why the uk government wants to ban detectors...
