That makes no sense. Not every canton uses K-Band in Switzerland so he need a opportinity to turn ON/OFF K-Band quickly and comfortable via "control knob".

In Switzerland, K band 24.15 GHz and Ka band 34.36 GHz coexist. There's no need to turn one off. Plus, IMO, in Euro mode V1 becomes less responsive than in A mode with everything on. It's not like I tested this, it's just an observation I made in my trips across Europe (from Romania to France, for instance). I prefer to switch between L and A (city / highway). In Euro mode you have no Logic (city) mode and V1 can become annoying. Read some European forums and you'll see almost everybody use A and L instead of U and u.
