I basically have one question I actually thought about it after the fact. I have a Chevy Impala 05 and I installed the receiver behind the GRill, but the Grill is plastic (I assume) it feel like plastic, it looks like plastic. I took a flash light to see where the receiver was line up to and it looks like it line up right behind the silver plastic or coating, on the right side of the Chevy symbol. I just did some test runs the past two days against stationary speed sign KA 34.7 (Around a Curve) and K band.
Two things happen either the V1 would alert a second faster or they both would alert around the same time. I just have to add this, At least every single K band I have run into the V1 alerted at least a good 3 to 5 seconds before the Bel STIR.
Question is real simple: Do you think my Grill is effecting the reception of my BEL STIR? OR Should i just wait until I run into a LEO that is using C/O and see how far my Bel STIR will detect the signal. ANY ANSWERS PLEASEE
