You were reading trash talk written by someone who doesn't know what they're talking about. The V1 does have a weakness on off-axis 35.5, but that doesn't equate to generally "awful" on that band. The Redline beats the V1 with off-axis 35.5, but the V1 is excellent on 35.5 otherwise.
