Corvette FAIL!!!!!

The poor dude has no idea how many people are talking about him...

Give the guy a break. Imagine if he someone tells him his RD sucks, so he stumbles upon this site and finds this thread. We don't know the circumstances of his wreck, nor the intentions of his parents. Perhaps he was racing his mom. Used 2004 vettes aren't the most expensive cars in the world either... Arguably inappropriate for an 18 yr old, but I've seen worse. Some of the comments are just cruel. The only thing we should hold against him is his poor taste in RD's.

Cessna 152? I think that's a bad analogy. Cessna 152s are acrobatic-rated and are WAY more fun to fly than the other Cessna GA aircraft. Using that, the automotive equivalent of a Cessna 152 would be a corvette or similar! 152s look crappy, but have way more flight-performance than the 172, less passenger capacity. :p

Good point. I was just trying to think of something that's generally considered to be "trainer class" and inexpensive. Two seats wouldn't hurt if they have a distraction problem. For some reason a Honda Del Sol is coming to mind...

If I had a kid and he totalled a Z4 that I bought him due to pure stupidity, his next car would be a 1993 corolla.

Im happy with what I drive? Im def not jeliois? Lol. I might have a nicer car if I wasn't stupid in school and had to pay 9 grand a semester for college. That's 18 grand a year. No scholarships cause im stupid. Lol. I was only showing that it was funny that such nice car had such a not so nice detector. Btw, I drive an 08 sx4.

It's stupid to you because that didn't happen to you right? lifestyle thing might be correct really depends on how rich the Parents are they might not need to worry about that

There were plenty of those at my school... Brand new $35-40k cars for sophomores in high school. All types of rides, some of which were wrecked and many of which were ticketed!
