If it's just you and the LEO on the road, it appears that getting instant on alert is like getting LIDAR alert (without a jammer) -- that is to say, a ticket notification. First question: is that a fair assessment?
(the GOL FAQ pretty much indicates this, but perhaps I missed soething....)
Likewise, the gist of everything I've read indicates instant on is quite reliable, and POP isn't even useful for issuing a citation. Second question: why on earth would any law enforcement organization bother with POP? If POP is detectable and not useful (in and of itself) for issuing a citation, it seems that there should be no market for it...
Third question: Are all [modern] radar guns instant on capable?
