viel or scanner?

should i get a scanner or veil and laser shield. i live in CA and by the sticky in the speed traps group, it says that laser is the last band the CHP uses. Should i get it just to be safe, are the chances of rolling out more and more laser great? or get a scanner?

Happy- in the Veil section he shows he has a white S-10 with a billet grill and chrome trim. is Veil and LS really going to help him out that much? i mean if he had a dark color car with no trim i'd be with you. but id say a CB or scanner for what your driving.

A CB-radio will help you out 1millions times more than a police scanner when traveling interstates

i dont really travel to to much, just maybe from Fresno to the bay or throughout CA, but never from state to state.

Get both. You can never have too many countermeasures. Scanner will only help if there are large scale operations, with a cop on a bridge lasering traffic and then calling out the speeders to chase cars. And it may help when you hear him pulling over people on the roads you will soon be using.

Scanners also are helpful for hearing about accidents, traffic jams, severe weather, etc.
