I pass this one police station on riverside in south florida all the time. and it starts off X 1 then all the way up to X 5 as you get closer. They are DEFINATELY using X band. 100 % sure. no matter when u pass there always x goes off, they have some tiype of constant measuring X device there.
 Why is that?Quote:

As to way Florida does not allow X band, I don't know how that legislation got passed, but I don't care, just that much more of a quiet ride. :D
ive seen one in west palm around forest hill blvd./ and 441. way out west they have the x band drone in use. i have mine shut off but when it didnt go off i was surprised, turned around with x band on and sure enough, the drone used x band? most are k and ka bands, this was a first. dan
florida only uses k and ka band, laser, no x band in police cars.
Please turn X band OFF if you live in Florida. You don't need it. That is what I consider a true BENEFIT of living here.
Ah now that you mention it, I do rememebr one time that I came accross a X band speed sign on the turnpike in a construction zone, it was crappy small orange thingy setup, almost like a regualr speed sign. Perhaps those are the sources for these rare X band occurances.Quote:

Lol I95 sucks sometimes, I was on I95 one time for like 1 1/2 hours because, some people decide to get into an accident on the left side. So they had to make everyone merge into one lane. Forget the accident that already happened, there was about to be more, because everyone was trying to get into the 1 lane when it started out 5 lanes.
Well I have certainly become educated today. That means here in Fl you can just turn off that annoying X....COOL! :D

Yep, it's a great thing here in Fla. Also, you'll notice that about 95% of your K band hits are falses(wallgrenes, CVS, Home Depot, drones, you name it) so you may want to mute your K band if you have the courage. Makes for pleasureable driving.Quote:
