    Yes it will work fine in New Zealand NZ Police use Stalker DSR Radar Ka 34.7 which is made in the USA by applied concepts. It may not be so good at picking up the low powered speed cameras tho.

    My understanding is that Escort/Beltronics can tune the detector , to ignore the signals that come from lane guidance systems.
