but I'm not too sure which of the two slots on the add a circuit that the v1 fuse go in and the original fuse go in.

hey guys..just a quickie. Does it matter which of the two slots the two fuses are inserted on a Add A Circuit? I'm using it for a V1 and was told to buy a 3A fuse and insert it closest to the "pin"...

thought I share this..bought a vertical mount to see if makes a difference..tested it today on a straight road and there was a good 30m diff compared to the normal horizontal position.. get one guys...

however I've been reading that locating the v1 on the lower side of windscreen and in vertical position seems to be alot more effective..I'll let you guys know.

totally agree.. love the V1..probably not the best looking r/d in my eyes but still the best on market. Buy a vertical mount and you'll be suprised with the difference also:D

There has been testing suggesting having it lower than higher on the windscreen will give more alert time (contary to V1 tips)..but this was tested on multinovas in Aust...at least 30m more as...

Hey guys.. I was targetted with a handheld in the city yesterday (australia) but my v1 didn't go off. I've got it mounted near rear vision mirror (vertically), but i did have the x and k bands turned...

Its not in a Cayman, but if you can knock up something like this and screw it bewteen your roof lining and vsior. I used an old Bel windscreen swivel adapter and applied to this setup.

Being serious here... why don't Cobra make a decent r/d. They've been in the business longer than most. You would assume they have accumulated / revised knowledge to make a good r/d.

I've got V1 and it's the best by far in detecting multinovas in Aust (I'm not too sure if the cops use them in UK or US). Just bought a vertical holder for the v1 and will let you know if it does...

I've had my concealed display for over 4 weeks and my initial reaction is to stiil look at the r/d when it sounds.

Have Cobra ever made a decent radar detector.. I vaguely remember 20 yrs ago that Cobra was "THE" radar detector, but then again I'm in Australia (we're usually behind the trend :D)and we still don't...

I did a custom job.. bought a sturdy metal plate.. drilled holes as to fix under visor brackets..bought a Bel Xr swivel mounts to attatch/screw the V1 bracket to the metal plate. and here it is....
