many speed cameras use a special filter that defeats photo jammers. it makes it possible to view the licence plate in the image even when it;s overexposed
i tested whem with a real photo radar. pos.. dont work at all and likely never did. also there are special filters for photo radars which will still make the licence plate visible even if it it too...
not really autovelox looks quite different; see attached. however it is possible that the device is some kind of scanning laser. but i really have no idea
for sure not autovelox. also it does not remind me of anything i have seen (i.e. majority of radars used in europe). maybe something produced locally? are there any logos or text on the units?
well there is not so much i can tell you about sensys other than it uses a tracking radar (one antenna tracking multiple vehicles across multiple lanes). i am not sure what the nominal frequency is...
Wow I'm surprised that even after 2 seconds they get suspicious. Better hide the heads very well and install an additional switch. Still the E mark should be helpful for you as well (in case of...
normally there are no problems but it depends on the actuall officer. some already know these devices so in general we recommend a hidden installation using a special perspex.. also JTG is obviosuly...
Hi guys,
For those from Europe - good news :) LI now carries the E25 mark (homologation). Long story short this means it can legally be installed on your vehicle (approved separate technical unit...
it will not work on jeep. this is accomplished using the cluster interface from mid city engineering. here is the list of supported vehicles (mercedes only with the exception of one audi and one...
this should help.. see post #3 from jimbonzzz
http://www.radardetector.net/forums/valentine-one/3124-rigging-remote-mute-button-signal.html
no problem :)
np.. glad to help
you normally dont get that many falses on Ka so it;s not a big deal. K band is the problem not Ka
well it's not that easy to say. for multaradar it is too high yes but you also have gatso which is centered around 24.125.. so i would say anyting above 24.145 SHOULD be a false.. the highes the fq...
aha i see.. ok slot A (closer to the pins) is for the original circuit and slot B for the v1. i think its also shown on the instructions that come with the adapter. i can post a picture if it's still...
sure it does.. one slot is for the original circuit and the other for the accessory (a v1 in your case)
let me correct you:
ramer produces no K band radars (only speed displays but no actual radars)
multanova 6f fq if 34.30 not 34.36
if you have troubles with falses take a closer look at stinger...
all radars fluctutate. it depends on the temperature. the cooler it gets the higher the frequency. multaradar is centered around 24.100 and in real life i would pay attention to fq from 24.075 to...
Update for SLOVAKIA:
20) Slovakia
Radar:
NEW: MultaRadar CD, K band: 24.100GHz
Ramer-7, AD9, Ramer 10 (made in the Czech rep.)
Ka-band: 34.00GHz and 34.30GHz
Usually built in cars, mainly...
multaradar C works on 24.100GHz so again - upper filter to +4 will do the magic :)
It jumping between those frequensies, the lowest was 24.146. I need to chop everything off from 24.146 and up, so Stinger DSI will do it? How precise the segmentation is on Stinger DSI?[/QUOTE]...
Hi.. DSI will let you filter those out. Card does not have an option to chop off parts of K band. PS i assume the frequencies are 24.244 and 24.156 right? :)
I had a brand new S-class merging onto the highway and K-band never went off until he was up to speed. So I'd guess it was cruise control based as I would have picked up lane avoidance as he was...
yes must be in specs otherwise you will not hear any sound at all. it is not perfect but is a solution for those that already have/want distronic.
