I've got an LPP as well, but my head is dead/dying :(
Seems like the consensus is that the LPP is definitely a generation behind the new latest/effective jammers.

What??
So are you having a problem or not?
Good question been wondering this as well.
I think it is something like...
*hold all three buttons down, then turn on the detector*
That should reset it, and it will show you the revision.
I really only picked up the X50 because I...
You can't run two detectors at the same time, whether they show signs of it or not they are interfering with each other.
Only run one at a time if you want maximum performance from the unit.
...
There was an old post that described all the filter modes and how many milliseconds they added before the Whistler would alert.
It doesn't reduce sensitivity it just increases the time in...
Wait......wut......guess I haven't been keeping up with the drama.
Regardless, nice saves!
Yep, when I sent mine in all I included was the unit. :)
EARLY versions like my old blue X50 were S7 then were changed to M4 due to quality issues and the fact that M4 is cheaper to manufacture
No no I know that, not that much of a newbie :D
...
Not sure if this has been covered but are the X50's S7 or M4?
*Goes and resets all of his detectors* :D
Just curious, why do you think this should be done every 2-4 weeks? (Other than if you are having problems)
Because he made 2 more posts in his own thread, so he could post pictures/video link because we asked for pictures...? Another reason?
Wow, was he really banned just because of...
The old GOL tests seem to differ from this statement.....although this was probably comparing S7 to S7 horns
Wonder if I should just sell my M4 X50 and get the S7 Non-X50...hmmm
BTW, I mean budget based on price, not on performance and features.
If talking about those, I feel that mid-grade is much more appropriate.
I would agree that Whistler makes excellent budget detectors as well.
However, there is nothing wrong with using a budget detector, and IMO my XTR-690 has good sensitivity considering the price I...
I heard about this a while back.
Glad to see it actually got passed!
Nice to see some great performance from these new Whistlers!
This should put to rest some of the people who were doubting these new models :)
Ya they really need to release that update, but something tells me we may never get it for some reason.
I just installed my single head LPP, but I got mine from a friend for ~$100 so it was...
I've got a 98.5 Audi A4 Quattro that has served me well for the past 5 years.
Check out Audizine.com for the common problems with these cars and what to look for when your buying one.
The...
Rev C platform is already up there with x50 and RX65. The Ka Max should be in the same performance as a top 3 RD's
Haven't tested them both on KA band yet, but it certainly isn't equal...
Well thanks again for the info, I will be running with them on all the time from now on.
I'd definitely like to see a specific test of the measured difference it makes.
Really, wow! Thanks for the info. Thats great news :)
The ones in the picture are not, but I have since upgraded to OEM European HID headlights.
So they even reduced PT's during the day? Do...
Thats a good place to start! :D
Thanks for the advice, install is happening tomorrow :)
Just curious where do you find your extra LPP heads?
I think for now I am going to put it around the plate somewhere (Probably underneath, or on the side). Then look for another head in the future.
In the coming months I won't be driving a lot...
