Just out of curiosity, why? I can think of way better things to do with my battery life throughout the day. The LCD on my detector works just fine.

It connects over Bluetooth? What about when I use Bluetooth to my stereo for hands-free and A2DP audio? Can both items be connected simultaneously without affecting the performance of both?

It didn't appear that he was shooting LIDAR when I passed him but I couldn't get a very good luck. Just looked like a strange place to sit and idle though, and would be a good angle for shooting rear...

OK. Sorry, after re-reading your post and looking at the pic again I see you are saying he was parked sideways. That is really weird. Radar would be pretty useless at that angle.
