From what I've read (and I'm still a rookie at this though I've read quite a bit) the higher location is just as big of a problem for laser as the tint strip. I haven't registered any legit laser hits on my V1 yet...but I had it mounted low for 2 weeks and didn't get hit either. Usually I've been in pretty tight traffic and I think my car's slipped by since I wasn't going very fast.Quote:

Update: Blinders installed!
M25 in the lower grill. CR8APL8 sucked, didn't install it. Will look into some other plate protection.

Moved traction control switch over a slot, and installed the LED. V1 and Blinders are toggled on/off by the power window lock switch. Works great - big and easy target to hit. Standard M25 on/off switch is located under the dash.

Lots of plastic covers made it super easy to completely conceal the wiring.

Are you on Long Island? I am thinking about renting a PL2 for Suf Daddy during my christmas break from law school to test out my set-up and make sure it is still JTG and JFG if you are interested in testing yours....Maybe if we can convince Carter840 he'll bring his LTI Marksman
