1. From a ton of testimonials here (and maybe soon my own when it's back in stock on Monday), get some VEIL for the headlamps. Those suckers are HUGE. Veil is mostly clear with a slight slight "smoke" tint to it but from the pics and discussions it's very faint.
2. Is your X50 pointing to the right?

yea the radar detector is coiled into the top of the dash and comes out the shift boot as you can see. it does look a little off in that pic ill align it better. i went with blue because my friend had it and i liked it and the middle part of the screen is blue too. so the veil is like a smoke color? you can apply it on headlights?
haha yeah the armband is funny. the car is almost 5 years old hehe.
Yup it's very faint though. Slight grey cast. Apply directly to your headlights (one coat, more will make it darker). You don't have a front license plate to worry about so no issue there. You'll get more out of a container that way.Quote:

robert is dead on. veil would be very good for two reasons. those big headlights and your blinders are mounted low.
since you don't have a front plate, i would tend to more each one about two inches each to the outer side so that they can do a better job taking care of those large lights (veil or no veil).

how long does the veil last for when applied?
we conservatively state 6-9 months. one veil will last at least 6 applications.
on one of my personal vehicles, its been on the rear well over a year and the front approaching the time as well.
we are coming into the kind of weather with which veil will do especially well [in the NH]
these guy will share their real-world experiences with VEIL.
again, i would suggest you move your blinder transponder a bit more to the outside of the vehicle to better protect thos huge lights.

I have coated my car well over 6 times with veil. Bob, why do you only say it's worth 6 applications? I made an insane license plateand also coated at least 10 or 11 cars...
I have never noticed it chancging the color of my headlights until I applied a second coat. Then it changed it to a light blueish tint which isnt very noptciable, but looks cool as hell :) You really can not tell after the first coat.Quote:
