Been running my Garmin Nuvi for almost 3 yrs and have had no major issues.
Only have one minor gripe that sometimes when making left/right turns to another road It sometimes is slow to refresh the map.

I have the Garmin nuvi 200 and just love it, just took a trip to Las Vegas with it.
I have had a Garmin NUVI 760 for about 5 years now. It is currently at Garmin for a recall on the battery. In general it has been pretty good. I had to pay about $120.00 for the lifetime map updates because of the massive amount of new road construction in my city. It had no idea where it was going and many times tried to send me onto roads that no longer existed.(It takes awhile for Garmin to get updates as well). The unit is off by approx 100 yds which can be a problem at times. It tells you that you are at your destination after you have passed it, or when you are still a block away.(pisses me off!) It has tried to send me the wrong way on one way streets and has told me to go the wrong way onto an expressway exit ramp. It sometimes doesn't recognize a street address so I have to enter the nearest intersection to navigate too.(I go to places so country that you have to go to town to hunt). The points of interest and trip details features are great. One last thing. The camball auto video camera i have can hook up to the unit so I can use it as a monitor. Best thing about it is I got mine for free. What a deal.
I just changed from a 255 to a 1350 and I'm diggin' the new one. Functionality is about the same but the bigger screen allows for more data plus you can choose what info is displayed. I like having miles to destination and direction of travel on the main screen along with ETA. It also displays speed in red when you're above PSL...
I love my garmin, but it has had a few problems. The first being sound, you can barely hear it at 100%. The second being that, every time I'm in an unfamiliar area and I want to get to Taco Bell or Applebee's, it will send me into a residential neighborhood and tell me to navigate off road. That really pisses me off.
