Real-world experiences with pre-release R4
Hello all!
We've been driving with the soon to be released R4 for about six or so weeks during a 16,000 mile trip across the United States and the Eastern Provinces of Canada and are impressed with its increased performance over the R3.
The detector has two LNAs which in theory can add up to 6dB in sensitivity. Based upon our experiences, it feels closer to between 3dB and 4dB, In comparison to the R7, the R4 seems slightly better from frontal radar, as expected.

We have another 6,000 mile cross country trip coming up where we will be continuing to drive with the R4 and some other new detectors beginning late November.
