New Uniden update for the R3

Last week I updated my Uniden R3 for the 1 31-196 program that segments KA band and adds a couple of colors (which is don't understand why the color purple and white were asked for). But the band segments are a nice step and some are now asking Uniden to update to arrows. The only concern I have on band segmentation (and I did segment my band detection), but always in the back of my mind are those small town and county units that fail to send their radar guns in for inspection and calibration and may be above or below my alert bands....and I'm talking way off. I hope having the 'all threats' section cut on will alert to anything like this.....and thoughts?

if you are too worried use KA wide, you should be ok with narrow, or use 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 segments if you are really worried. usually 2.4.5.6.8 should be enough

And I like white when riding the motorcycle because with the sun it is hard to see.
