Hey MMeteor you can come to the real bright side (Belscort) and get rid of your V1 already. I've never been let down with my RX65.

What is interesting, some LEOs on Ka with the Valentine I might get 600ft of warning. I figure something must be up. I get this on both my 3.819 and .826 once and a while and the 970LR would get like 2000ft for detection (none ran at the same time/ and not in the same environment.) Today I ran across a LEO with a RX65 detecting around 400ft. He was parked on the right shoulder with the rear ant. activated (35.5GHz) roughly 35-45 degree away from the roadway.Quote:

Sorry TeamQuack didn't mean it like that. I wouldn't mind having a V1, I actually thought about it first. We don't have any laser around here so I went with the Bel. I would recommend the V1 for anyone that runs into laser often.
Thats a total BS statement. New or refurb, there all checked and tested. New units don't "suck".Quote:

I get similar results on Ka on my V1. The other day I might had received MAYBE 1/4 mile Ka warning on constant on! My experiences on Ka band with the V1 have not been too good. K and X are a different storyQuote:

I get the feeling most people forget the huge scratch on the inside of the display that I had, so you can eat that BS statement of yours.Quote:

Doesnt matter. Either way it is a Quality Control issue, as it got out the door. Dont say it cant always be perfect. A certain customer of our product (of the company I work for) requires a QPPM of 10. Thats 10 failures out of every 1 million units. We dont produce anywhere near 1 million units per year, so that equates to 0 failures...Quote:
