If you used a Visa/Mastercard you will be fully covered. I own a business and I got screwed many times from legit customers because Visa/Mastercard rules state that if the card holder him/herself does not sign for the package there is no proof that they received it and you can dispute the charge and you will win 100% of the time. I had a customer actually sign for the package and they signed a different name and I lost the case so call your credit card company and dispute the charge.
there is also another good thing to come out of this as vr know the serial number they should log it down as a stolen v1, so this means no repairs ect in the future!
they should have nicked an rmr and then get caught speeding that would be true justice! :lol: :lol:
hey may be the cops should use the rdd's to find stolen radar detectors?
You know letting VR know that it was stolen is good and all but do you think they actually mark it down as a stolen V1 and do something about it or they just do nothing if someone else ever decide to upgrade it. What do you guys think they would do???
I can't believe they actually shipped it to VA. File a claim with UPS.
I have bought three units from Valentine since 97, never had a problem. One reason is that they are not a business in the State of Virginia, unlike Circuit Town, Worst Buy, and Radio Hut.Quote:

All the Radar detector companies ship to VA including Escort, Valentine, Bel, Whistler, and of course RadarRoy. None of these devices are illegal to own in VA, just illegal to use in VA. It is illegal for businesses to sell these devices in VA, but when you order these devices and have them shipped to you they are not being purchased in Virginia.
