Veil wont kill Projector ot HID it will decrease it though, it will still be completly safe to drive with Veil on your lights. A trick to see where your laser "hot spots" are, is if you have a digital camera with IR or a regular flash will work, it will show you where the most reflective parts of your car are.

some end up ok..but ive heard in some cases the light output was reduced to almost candle strength

I have a V1 in IL. Perfectly legal. Tell your friend to put the crack pipe down.

Only 3 Canadian provinces allow rd use and that's B.C, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. All other provinces I believe are illegal (but I am sure there is a way around this). Virginia and D.C are still illegal to use an rd but Virginia is much easier to get around that law compared to Ontario. On a scale, Virginia being the lowest threat, Ontario in the middle, and Austrailia being the highest threat for places in getting caught with an rd.
