DOLLARAMA! I can get a 15 ft cord for $1.15 including taxes and that's Canadian bucks.
You can buy the cord in bulk and get yourself a crimper and make custom cables all day long :!: You can find all the stuff at Home Depot for short $$.
It turns out to be a very handy tool to have around the house.
