V1 theft prevention questions

Your best bet is to lock it in your trunk if you have one.

Too bad my car is leased and I can't take it apart and do hardwiring, etc. with it.

What has that got to do with anything??

I have hard wired tons of RD's, stereos etc & it causes no alteration/damage to the vehicle that couldn't easily be reversed before a car is turned in off a lease.

in my opinion the concealed display just make things worse .
before i had it, my V1 mounted high...if someone took a glance into the car he coudnt know i have a V1. now it is very easy. the Concealed display is in my dash ....

Having a remote display keeps people from behind me from using me as their rd notifier. Every once in a while some one will see it, but it has to be me on a hill with someone behind on a surface more level than the surface I am on.

Remote display keeps my visual alerts from lighting up my inside making it obvious I run a rd at night.

i use the sucksion cup mount i bring mine in every night when i get home from work i have it hardwired and mounted abouve rear view mirror.

I don't care where anyone lives, TAKE IT DOWN! hide it in the car, under the seat, glove box, etc...take it inside whatever don't leave it up, if you can at all have a bait in there like a cobra.

Put a cheap (The basic 40 dollar one) Cobra from walmart in as a decoy. :lol:

Take it down and hide/remove everything including your deck, gps, etc. NO reason to invite a thief if you don't have to.

Do you take it down if you are doing some quick shopping (20 mins or so) and the parking lot has a lot of people around? He will be seen by the whole world if he breaks a window.
