Bushnell sets off KA band

I notice when I turn my V1 into euro mode "u" mode it will alert KA to my bushnell K band radar. Maybe the professor can jump in here. I know that "u" mode is for KA only but when I put it in "U" mode it will alert to K only. Just thought it was weird that a 24.100 GHz gun can set of KA band in "u" mode.

Both my X50 and Pro 78 will alert to KA band when the Bushnell is very close to the horn of the radar detector as well.

I know what you mean but it only does it in "u" mode never in "A" or "L" mode. Plus I was over 15 feet away when I did the test.

My guess: It's "front end overload", and it alerts to Ka in "u" mode but not in "A" or "L" because the V1 is more sensitive to Ka in "u" mode, while the other modes might not be sensitive enough to detect the weak image freq on Ka produced by the front end overload.
