Sorry about the formatting of the above post. Spaces used for padding got stripped when posting.
So you have owned a total of 3 V1s? Why does the serial number change everytime its updated?
Really, I did not know that. Shows how new I am, when my V1 was updated from 3.824 to 3.826 they did not change the s/n. Thanks for all the info.
version: 3.863
s/n: 932
Date: First week of February 08
I wonder if we can find out about the version # by giving VR the S/N

If you look at radarpeeps sticky and see Jim's post on V1 Software Versions vs. Performance this is another great reference:
Dougies, your old 3.824:
(May 2005 3.824 - Attempt by VR to fix "J" alert on real threats problem for 3.821 POP units)
Don't forget serial numbers are changed with new hardware making original software versions and original date of purchase irrelevant.
My case and front laser are still '95 (was ending at 367) my current radar is a '97-'98 retrofit that included a full gut swap.
Another reason my serial number ends with a 484 (440 to 599 MFG 1998 to 2001)
is because it also was retrofitted with a newer band ID hardware that did not come out until '99.
Before that I had to rely on a dismal point (blinking or steady) for visual band ID.
Sorry MetalFlame, all I was doing is what you said copy/paste as I was not sure who was the original poster, credit goes all to you, I will fix my original post.
