Re: V1 purchase, now buyers remorse?
Well, I shoulda read the last page. Our OP has sent back his V1.
While I think the Valentine, like any good woman, could have been brought into line, trading in for the other was a legitimate decision for him at this time.
Good luck, and I think once you get some good experience with it, your BMW forum friends might benefit from hearing about this alternative to the V1.

Congratulations - FWIW, I think you made the right move and you'll be very happy with your purchase. Unless, of course, you end up feeling some remorse because you didn't get a 9500ci. :D

BMW GUY you are on the wrong forum, the best Radar Detectors are on the Whistler forum.......just ask them!:D:eek::D:eek:
Re: V1 purchase, now buyers remorse?
The V1 is a lot like the Comodo firewall; In a novice's hands it can be downright annoying and half the time you don't even know what the alerts mean. But in an experienced users hands, it's the safest most comprehensive system available.
Well that's my opinion anyway...

Not everyone was cut out to be a :zombie3:. Good luck with the 9500ix, it's a great detector too.

Please return it until you learn more about radar.
Or he could buy a 9500ix.
Re: V1 purchase, now buyers remorse?
I didn't read the last page, but it seems like the OP did buy a 9500Ix. I love this detector for it's quietness. I do have to say I like the arrows as well, but not the falses.

Oh okay, go buy a police detector that locks out real threats then.
