Not to be mean or anything, but this is what happens when you ditch too many math classes. :D
.5 + .5 = 1.0, not .10; your other guesses contain similar errors. I recommend you use a calculator when trying to figure this stuff out.

ooooooooo ok yea your right i did ditch so many math classed. Ok so when a leo is stationary and i get .3 it would be .60 miles right .and .4 would be .80 miles right and 6 would be 1.2 miles .8 would ne 1.6 miles .7 would be 1.4 miles right. I think I gotta know. so you add the same numbers together and as for travell you multiply.
Take a look at the attached picture.
Assuming you reset your trip meter when you get the initial alert:
In the scenario at the top, both you and the leo are moving at the same speed towards each other. Distance between you is 1 mile at initial alert. The red line is where you would meet the leo, your trip meter would read .5 miles.
In the lower part of the picture, you are driving and the leo is stopped on the side of the road. Initial alert is still 1 mile, but since the leo is not moving, when you get to the leo, your trip meter would read 1 mile.
Un-confused yet??
on the stationary when my trip reads .5 miles it means 1. mile rigt. Tell me if I get it
My trip reads on stationary
.2 .40
.3 .60
.4.80
.5 1
.6 1.2
.7 1.4
.8 1.6
.9 1.8
.10 2.0
When me and the leo are comming towars each other and lets say this
.5- 1.0
.8 1.6
.7 1.4
.3 .60
.6 1.2
.4 .80
DO I GET IT NOW
The first picture the total would be 1 mile i picked up the leo but I would meat him at .5 miles and my trip would read .5.
The second picture is still 1 mile, but my trip would not read .5 it would read 1.0 which is 1 miles
didnt stealthstalker said that the numbers add up to itself on when a leo stopped
Forget about LEO's and miles for a minute and imagine this:
Your bathroom is 20 feet from your bed. The bathroom is obviously not moving, it is stationary. How far did you have to walk to get to the bathroom this morning when you got up to take a crap? 10ft? 40ft? 60ft? Keep in mind the bathroom is only 20ft from your bed.
Did you actually make it to the bathroom???
The bathroom is 20ft from your bed, so unless you popped a squat half way there, you walked 20ft to the bathroom!
