Re: Valentine One - iPhone install (Audi A3)
I can't wait until they make a Droid and Blackberry version of this.
Will this eventually integrate with trapster?

Interesting, I wonder if Apple thought no one would ever over take the orig apple computers back in the 80's.....cough cough......Microsoft......cough cough
If it was not for the MP3 and ipod, Apple would be dead.
I agree. I don't like Apples computers. Well, the Mac book Air is nice. But then again so is the Dell XPS (or whatever that thin laptop is called).
They're are coming out with a new Droid very soon. I think it's called Droid Incredible or something like that. Saw it on Engadget

IMO anyone who would be rooting on they're Droid if they had an iPhone would have it jailbroken. So all the flexibility and limitation crap goes out the window. I have been multitasking, tethering, watching TV on my AT&T 3G connection, viewing my security system, and cloning my iphone on my cars NAV screen since right after the 3G came out.
I had a 16 Gig 3G and now have a 32 Gig 3GS so I have no need for more memory nor want to deal with SD cards.
I have a Blackberry Tour 9630 and have used other android phones and by far not only is the iPhone superior in so many ways but surfing the Internet for any amount of time is a complete PITA on anything but the iPhone. Using multitouch to zoom in and out and having the screen real-estate of the iPhone makes Internet browsing great on a phone.

haha my friend had the newest iPhone and his calls would drop like crazy. he just switched over to the droid with no problems. hes a trucker and had the AT&T wireless card with "unlimited internet" yeah bull****. they charged him $500 (which they "could not refund") for his extra 5 gig of usage and on top of that cut his internet off while he was on a delivery and needed to get directions. I had AT&T for a week until i went back and demanded they cancel my plan and take their POS back. I have verizon now with NO problems. I get service when no one else gets service and i dont need to "multitask" ten million apps considering i dont care for downloading videos while talking to my friends and dont see the point in talking to your friend and getting online at the same time.
plus no insurance for the iPhone is a HUGE minus.

Really it depends where you live. I had alltel/now verizon, for a long time. We dropped it for at&t and do not regret it at all. You're only gonna get charged for the internet like that if you don't have a data plan. If you just get an unlimited data plan, its a certain amount each month. But using the internet without a data plan is like paying for every single text message, instead of getting an unlimited plan.

HA? Read the other posts buddy.
I never said anything about an ATT aircard. I had an alltel aircard until lame Verizon bought them.
I was referring to the ATT data. I get great service even up to 2-5 miles off shore on my boat. I had a Verizord and was charged $.020 cents a MB after 5 gig when I wasnt even going over, had proof and Verizon said they couldnt keep track of it accuratly but oh well.
I have never had any problems with Alltels or Sprints aircards and I drive from all over the country. Only place I have ever had a problem was in the desert in the mid west.
And only a Verizon customer would "not see the point of talking and getting on the web at the same time."
I actually do it often. When I am placing a call to someone I have an account with and need information about my account like a bill or account number, I can get it off line in a couple seconds. Or if I am talking to a friend and need to give them a number or want to read them something I saw online. Or even better is being able to look at my Think or Swim account while I am talking to the trading desk to close a position quickly and not having to guess a price because I am not in front of my computer and dont have access to a chart.
Theres a million uses for it but if you absolutely cannot do it I guess you will never know.
I guess it just depends on what kind of user you are. Some people cant tell the difference between 1080P and SDTV (let alone 2560X1600). LOL
And I know the POS Verizon network isnt fast enough to download anything quickly let alone a video so I see you there, but it is nice when you are downloading something to be able to accept a call if it comes in and not have to stop the download or wait for it to finish.
Strange how Verizon has been on CNN and MSNBC four or five times in the past 6 months for admitting (most of the time) being wrong for sending people $10K+++ bills for aircard usage because they cant keep track.
Must not be too bad nationwide if Apple will refuse to give the Iphone to them. I know the WSJ said Verizon would get it this year, and Verizon CEO did confirm they want it because it takes SOO many customers from them (his words not mine) but come to find out it was nothing more than him wanting it. As the Street.com (Jim Cramers site) and now the Iphone that was leaked (found really) confirm the new Iphone has SIM card. Imagine that. Theyre gonna keep the best selling phone in the country with a SIM card. Just like every other country in the world.

Less cell phone talk, more radar detector talk! You guys are way off topic now.
Re: Valentine One - iPhone install (Audi A3)
I have a blackberry but I think it will do 10x better on an iPhone/iPod Touch because blackberry development is not great and even powerhouses like eBay don't have a respectable application

Yeah there is but it is not officially released yet. You would have to become a beta tester via the Home | SignalActive website (register under the early adopter section and you must also have an iphone (more smart phones to come but for now exclusive to the iphone)
