LOL That was my exact thought process. At first I wanted to spend $100, then I thought I should spend at least $150 to get something decent. (Another $150 away from the Valentine) Then, I thought I'd likely get a ticket and approx. $350 later, I'd buy a good one (i.e. Valentine ONE).
It only seems logical to buy a quality detector up front...

I made this mistake, except I went in reverse order on the Whistler and then Cobra:o Finally got smart back in 1998 w/my V1 purchase.
We all are spoil look at our's toys.:D
