Looks like the case is well-built and the only thing that makes it worth the money is the Valentine accessories that come with it. Doesn't tell if it makes it RDD effective. Has anyone done this install? Has it impaired performance?

which case? you have a link?
I think he is talking about something similar to this: Legal Speeding Radar Detector Case :: Aerostich/RiderWearHouse Motorcycle Jackets, Suits, Clothing, & Gear
but for cars. I think someone on here has one, the rear radar is blocked and overheating does not appear to be a problem.
No clue about the RDD part though.
yes it's similar but it's made especially for the Valentine unit. That's the only thing I hate about the Valentine and the redline is they have to be up on the windshield without any remote sensor choices for either units. This option will give the Valentine a choice anyways. That's if it works. I'm attaching the brochure to this post.
Dont waste your time and money!!!
X2 From the pic, it looks like the case covers the antennas of the V1 which will cut your range down. Plus, you'll possibly have to install the whole case behind your bumper which I bet will cut down range even more. I'd go the safer route and just install the V1 normally on your windshield.
x3, don't bother with that
