Re: How the v1 compares in town
Well I went with the v1 cause I had heard nothing but good things. With the proper automute settings it will dumb down the falses. You will still experience them but because of the v1's improved performance you'll be happy. But both are really good units. They are both top of the line

It's a subjective matter. Despite supercowpower's assertion, with some V1 time under your belt you can easily pick out an LEO from a bunch of falses. Now, whether you want to have to do so or not is, again, a subjective matter.

Well said. Personally, last thing I want to do is figure out an LEO from 5 or 6 false bogeys while trying to drive in Houston. Someone will sideswipe while figuring that out...

Well said by all.
Though the V1 can be a crazy chatter box it can also be dumb down, and if actively adjusted by the user it can be good in city/town falses.
For me i also prefer the GPS features of the 9500 sires, its less likely for human error by not being active with the RD. But the V1 can do a fine job in the city just as the 9500 can do a fine job on the highway.
