Wow, they are still around. I always thought it would be cool if SWS did take off and get used wide spread. I'm just facinated with the technology.

I too ran into these in OH on my recent trek north. They were the construction signs but didn't have anything displayed. Confirmed that it was them after 5 or so of the same signs....Strange, btw those damn drones were horrible!

Trust me I know!! K band muting is awesome though and works great for me. NormSky really helped me out getting it set up.......very glad I had the ability to mute those damn things
Re: Construction sign false?
Around here I'm surprised when I see one of those things that isn't spewing K-band for 2 miles. I've had fantasies of knocking out the radar antenna with a sledgehammer.

I didn't even think to switch my settings up on the fly. Of course after 13 hours of straight driving I was more concerned about getting out of OH! haha

I've ran into quite a few of these signs here in Okla. City and they all spew K band. I would be interested to know more about how you have your V1 setup to mute these annoyances lol

I run mine in "l" mode only in areas where I know there are speed sensors. I didn't change anything except the following: 7 down, b & C down, d up which is 15 second mute. I also set E & F down to stay muted at 4 and 6 lights. This works well for me. With this particular sign I do get a audio alert as well, not sure why.....maybe a different frequency or maybe because it is identified as a new bogey. Maybe someone here could explain it to better
