Bouncing boobs don't get old either.
There is no doubt that the V-1 is one of the best RD's that money can buy. I am getting ready to purchase the fourth one I have purchased from MV. I gave one to each of my sons, and need one to keep in my BMW Bike.
Unless you have used one, you do not appreciate how good they are and what the arrows do for you. Every once in a while, I will get one of my Escorts out and use it for a couple of days. Then back to the BEST RD that I already have.
Does that mean I would like not like to see it upgraded. Of Course.
My Wish LIST for V-2 Upgrades are:
>A remote CD with tech information: IE Radar Band Info, Frequency, Radar ID, Laser Gun ID.
>Blue Tooth for audio alerts to my headset(Not bug the wife and kids) maybe talk to CD without wires.
Oh yes, Color LED's on main unit and CD so I can tell band info at a glance.
I would say that these wants would not require a major re-design on the current V-1 that we have today(well except the Blue Tooth, maybe that could be part of the new tech/CD).
Hope MV has new things in the works.
My 2 cents worth.
VR will start having concerns when the competition will have directional capabilities and it will be coming soon when the patent expires. As radarroy has indicated, they are working on it. As far as response to QT, it goes along when the patent expires. Every new product will still need some tweaking though
That still remains to be seen and that keeps you waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and . . . . . . . . . . I wish VR would but I'm not counting on it.Quote:
I'm happy to wait until Mike releases something that he KNOWS is ready for prime time
hah, the shame would indeed be upon me if I was comparing this thread to bouncing ta-tas, but I was merely offering an analogy to explain why the same "stuff" keeps coming up in threads. It's a never-ending teaching of newbies or knuckleheads with learning disabilities. hehe
lol eek, delete thought, reload recent animated gif.
The Cheetah mirror integrates with the V1 already. Mind you, you lose the original V1 audio alerts and they're replaced with the Cheetah audio alerts, which is why I won't be getting a Cheetah mirror, but it will work for those looking for GPS functionality integrated into a V1.
If VR just partnered up with Cheetah to refine there product and make it more seamless VR would be king of sensitivity and features.
Imagine "L,l & A" modes having the ability to be set by GPS coordinates. Now that would be sweet! You don't always need to change to have a current product.
