I dont get into peoples personal lives, but if the lady on the phone who was rude to me is personal family or to that nature then she is simply doing more harm than good.
Great product none the less. No one can say otherwise. V1 is still a top dog in the game.
However eventually it will be obsolete with the way escort is going.
I'm looking into some M47 blinders someone bought and was too lazy to install lmao, or not smart enough to read simple schematics, or too scared to do it theirselves, and too cheap to pay someone to do it. Either way... I'm going to test this unit out and make an offer on it. It's brand new. I'm going to argue the device is illegal now lmao maybe get it for an additional 50$ off!

Here is a good question.. do you think Alice is mean or is she just blunt and very dry? I'm positive she has heard every bulls*** line run by her that there is. All she has done is developed a "phone mode" for dealing with the public. Get on the phone, get to the point and hang up so the next person can get through. People need more patience AND thicker skin.

As I read the OP's original post, I couldn't help but laugh to myself knowing what his true feelings were. Your post reeked of the 'loser of an argument'. It is so blatantly obvious that you will put your tail between your legs(if you haven't already) and order another V1.
When you are the only manufacturer that has "the arrows", you can be as rude and cocky as you want. Until the other brands get their arrows up and running, V1 will remain a cult-like product.
You just got stung by the mean lady, that's all. Get over it.

You sound like your from VR. Your exact defense is very specific to her character. I would almost certainly narrow your statement to you being very intimiate to VR in some form other than being a customer.
Your exact statement was very correct. I was asking a nice simple question and rudely cut off by Allice. It was very present she doesnt like to talk about the product she supports and works for. Which clearly states poor customer service? Are we still not clear on how poor of customer service this is in the eyes of the customer.
What is the consumer law #1 for a business owner? THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT !
That said I have fired people from my sales department who I absolutely could not see being rude after a few complaints and listening to their recorded conversations from my NICE server. I could hear they were up-beat and positive, but cut the customer off trying to hurry to the sale and be done with the call. That resulted in their termination.
You just CANNOT do that to the customer. I think Allice from her tone and character would be a great "Office" worker, but not on the phones. Her blunt to the point and rude tone makes a perfect number crunching paper reviewing employee. Keeping her on the phones to take orders is doing VR no good.
Let me state though. My first order of V1 was also by phone. I spoke to a male individual. He was ALL ABOUT RADAR, and V1. He was a perfect example of who should be taking those phone calls. In my opinion Hire a techy little teen ager. Teach them about Radar and the business, and V1's cliche in the market, and put himher on the phones. Then you would drastically UP the customer service via phone with just that one move, AND you would get cheap work!
I'm still going to order me a Valentine 1. Mike Valentine has all my respect because I know that man loves what he does, and loves his product, and I support his compassion 100%.
I am going to order a V1. Thats is without question. I will possibly order a V1 next week.
However :) it could have been 2 V1 sales if it werent for Allice. So now I'm trying out escorts products. Aside from the Arrows not there... I am very impressed!
Next monday I get my Android phone, and I go LIVE with my unit. This will be my finalized impression. If I do not like LIVE, and find it useful. I will simply return the unit and get another V1, but right now even without Live. The 9500ix is impressing me.

You are absolutely correct :). I could include myself for quite some time as a Cult member of the V1 technology LMAO.
Point number 2. Yup... I'm going to tuck tail and order a V1. Just vai the internet, and never again will I do it from phone lmao. Lesson learned.
#3. If Escort patents ANY TYPE OF ARROW system via phoneandroidiphone. V1 will never be in my vehicle again!
So for now... I want a V1 again so bad I am willing to over look poor customer service over the phone lmao. Plus.. at the same time.. I will own two of the most top rated detectors listed. So I can give a real review of each. Right now... 9500ix has memorized every false to and from work. When it goes off. It scares the **** out of me, and it's a cop 100%.
I get my Android phone and android service probably monday. So I will go LIVE possibly on Tuesday, and see what LIVE is all about!
A note to Mike Valentine: **I do miss those arrows OMG I miss them lmao ... , and I'm going to order a V1 despite Allice. However ;) Yah lost an extra sale to escort, because I was going to buy a V1 for my wife too!
We will see... If I dont like Escort LIVE. I will return it, and replace it with V1. So Mike will still make the two sales. I will keep you posted on the Escort forum of how I like LIVE.

Sorry, referring to Alice as a "mean lady" is like trying to sugar coat a turd.
What she is, is a rude, obnoxious, tactless old lady who has absolutely no business (or the skills) to work in customer service.
She isn't exposed to any more bulls**t than any other customer service representative on this planet.
If she pulled her crap anywhere else, she'd be fired.
The last time I called and she answered, I immediately asked to speak to another customer service rep.
She got angry.
Apparently, she needs more patients and thicker skin.
