Everyone that has bought a returned unit has said its good as new! I would have no problem getting a returned unit--they ops check it on the bench before it ever goes back out and if anything is scratched they would replace it 8)

I did not vote yet! but this is this you cant tell from new units or return units both look new anyway vr sends the return units very clean some folks like to pay the extra cash tho they want to be the very 1 owner never used v1 or touched bye someone else besides vr family  .and some dont care they buy the return units to save a little extra cash which is good but some like the brandspanking new units for $400 8)
Who is scared to say they voted No?
I have just got a V1 from US it arrived on Monday 27th Feb I can tell you it is absolutly brand new to look at. Not a mark or a scratch everything in correct bag. Very impressed. I have got it to use in other car I can now run some comparisons with my Rx65. So far my V1 has been past 3 Lti lytes and 2 multanovas has detected all. I see no problem in the refurbs at all would buy again without hesitation. Screen displays software version 3.826.
Still waiting chicken.......
SO when does the Rx65 hit EBAY :lol:Quote:

I sent my 1.8 for an update last week. The paint on the case is showing wear and tear especially on the corners. When I got it back, the case looked newer than what I sent in. No more paint chips on the corners. No paint chip on the grooves where the suction cup and visor mount goes. The case has a different serial number and label, but it has very, very light scratches. I wonder if VR used a magnesium case from returned units to replace my old one.
So are you happier this way?Quote:
