FCC last test date 2014 @$325 on Amazon. I'm very sad, but V1 seems out of business. Ugly damn thing, but a decent performer on some other planet.

Either Valentine has closed his doors for good or something new is in the works (not to sell any units for months now). We discussed on this forum for years that when China starts to produce better and cheaper costing units copying the V1 ideals, that could be the death of the V1.
China rd quality? Forget it. China intellectual chip and board design theft? YES. When I worked for Radio Shack years ago the company would not deal with manufactured brands with a 4% or greater failure rate on customer delivery. China is no where near that consistency with anything they build. V1 if not dead is waiting for something. Wait too long and you miss the boat.

The demise of VR has been argued for years. I dont ever see it going out of business
Well, I hope you're correct, however, its competition is kicking its ass in both tech hardware advancement and sales. I'm thrilled of you optimism, however, the company is on borrowed time in my opinion. V1 hardware run on software updates is a f*** you to its customer base the last 12 years. Hardware has evolved way ahead of software patches. Kinda like Microsoft patches, an OS flawed from the start.
