Default The XTR-695 has now officially paid for itself!

I was driving to work Thursday afternoon, through Carbon Canyon, which is a very twisty road. I came around a long left and Ka went off like crazy. I looked and saw a car pulled over. About 1.5 miles later there was a cop on a sidestreet shooting people with radar. Thank you Whistler!

Cant remember if it was 34.7 or 38.5 (is ther even a 38.5? lol)

The range was ridiculous considering how windy that road is

35.5 sounds about right. I dont recall there being a .7 or a .8 there. It was only a quick blip, but it was enough!

I'm pretty sure that Carbon Canyon is patrolled by CHP, which would mean the frequency would be 34.7Ka.

I don't think so, it's going to be San Bernaghetto county on the chino hills side, and then maybe Diamond Bar PD/Orange County SO on the other side.
