    Default Concealing the XTR-695

I don't have anywhere in my mirror to hardwire the detector as I don't really have that option available, just a regular mirror. So is there an extra long power cord or a way to splice a cord into another (like an extension) to tape/tuck it alongside my car into the cigarette outlet?

In the GTO I used the switched 12v that was in the vanity mirror on the sun visor passenger side.....and of course the RVM bracket off the internet to keep the 690 off the windshield...

Just three screws and the wires that power the vanity mirror are right there and just spice into them.

For the Silverado I used a switched 12V from the overhead map light and another RVM bracket for the Pro78...

It's not long enough. Where can I get a longer wire.

You should have plenty ! I drive a civic..Start at your fuse box,run under the driver side pillar and under the head liner and hang your cord above your mirror. I have at least a 1 1/2 of slack left.

I guess the XTR-695 one is shorter than the Pro 78.
