Bel v995 acts strange at times
Has anyone else ever notice that their v995 resets its volume and display brightness every once in a while? For some odd reason, mine has always done it ever since I got mine a year ago. I have my detector hardwired into my fuse panel and it has never had a self cal or service required message. It detects radar perfectly fine. Strange, huh?
maybe a power issue since you said it as hardwired. do you have a fuse on the wire?
That happened once with my Bel895, but not anymore. I thought it was just a one time fluke. I have had mine for about 1.5 yrs
It maybe some type of power issue as bballking1 suggested. The odd thing is that I have the detector set on city low x, and that option always stays the same even after the strange reset occurs. The reset seems to occur aprox. once every two weeks or so. It's not a major problem, just a little annoyance.

I have had that happen w/ my 995 once in a while. It's no big thing.

Have had mine about 4 month, never seen this before. I'd bet on a power issue as well.
