STI Audio Ramp Up?

I wonder since Escort fixed the 9500i's audio ramp up if they are going to do the same to the STI. I would hope so and I am very excited because if this happens my only complaint on the STI left would be the X band bird chirp. PLEASE Beltronics/Escort fix the audio ramp up on the STI just like you fixed the 9500i's audio ramp up. ALso Escort congratulations on listening to your customers. I am THOROUGHLY impressed that you fixed the 9500i's ramp up. This was mine many people's only major complaint on the 9500i and you took care of it. STELLAR job!

My only question is, what audio ramp up??

My STi doesn't have an audio ramp up, the audio rate doesn't change no matter what, it's extremely disappointing.

Rumor has it ....that It can't be fixed for ever ... its a manufacturing defect .. thats why the speakers are shipped :-) ;-)

either you get good sound or get that thing stealth ... i prefere stealth .

I know what audio ramp up is, I was being sarcastic. The audio alert on mine doesn't change from first alert to full throttle (on visual display). All I get is beep...beep...beep...beep...beep...beep, all the way to the radar source.

BTW, I just got it back from Bel with the 33.8 fix, it's an A7M9.

actually that reminds me ... mine did Beeppbeeep and then beep beep and beep then K band beep ....its loud for me though ... i some time have to mute it ..

Can you double check that? The last known version is A4M9. If this is true, then you have the first confirmed new software version.

Yes, I checked it three times before I wrote the numbers down. Then I searched and searched on here and couldn't find out anything about this revision.

Interesting news!!!

You should start a new post with this info (A7M9) and state when you received your unit back from Bel. This way we can track this revision.

Do you notice anything different with it?
