STi out of warranty, how much were you charged for ramp-up fix?
My STi is long out of warranty. It was in once for a free update (A4M9 33.8 fix some time ago).
Obviously, I now want the current ramp up fix.
Was this fix free for you guys not longer on warranty? How do you get them to throw in some free bits (windshield mount, cord, etc.)? Last time mine was in, all I got back was the detector and packing peanuts.

Everytime I sent in a Beltronics product for out of warranty check-up it was $50...I always sent in my used mounting bracket and got a new one back with new suction cups. I also sent in my regular cord and they sent back a smart cord....They have great customer service in my own oppinion.

The only way to know is to call them. Last I heard this fix was going to be free of charge.

It is free of charge. I am way out of warranty and it was no issue to get it fixed. The only cost was my shipping costs
