My daughter turns 7 at the end of this week. Yesterday on our way to church she said, "Daddy, why do you need that if you don't speed?" I was at a loss for words.

I just wish it was a smoother ramp up

It really doesn't get much better than this. I would say the rampup on my V1 is perfect, but the STi is nipping at it's heels. I can honestly say without reservation I prefer my STi over my V1! I've been using my V1 while they upgrade the firmware once again to get rid of the three bugs from the original code. Even programmed the V1 is just too damn sensitive on extreme off axis k band sources. I had a full alert pointing to the front for some time driving through Warrenton, VA yesterday. I scanned everywhere and could not find the officer. I was so annoyed that I turned my V1 off and when I did I glanced in the rear view mirror to see the Sheriff right on my ass. I don't know how he didn't see the V1.
