    Default STi-R Plus Buyers Poll

If the STi-R+ was available in the USA, would you buy one within the next 6 months if the price was between $900 and $1200 USD?
    Simple "Yes" or "No" answer.

    I want one.

That most I'd spend is $700.

    No.

Already donated $500 to the coffers of Belscort for an M3 detector so I have the range.

Can't see forking over $900 to get Band Seg and RDR (which could be put on any M3 detector) and GPS which is not a feature I need.

Nope. Whistler has grabbed my attention now with their new 3600 remote. For a base price of under $500 I can have a remote detector to compliment the M3 I already have which will give me that "QT" protection I've been after Escort to provide. I really like the modular design combined with modular pricing that Whistler is going with! Looks like I can start out with the base detector and then add GPS and a rear antenna any time I want.

Besides, the STi-R Plus isn't even an option now for US buyers. They'll have another new Escort model out by the time they get around to putting this together and Valentine will be shipping the V3!

    Wake up Bel!

Not really, I have an STiR now and love it. I don't need the GPS technology

Yes, but hoping it's in the sub $1000.00 price point.

Just a heads up. Canada will not be getting any Bel STI-R Plus units. So those of you who are waiting you might consider looking else where. Contacted Auto Mobility Head Rep. He confirmed they (exclusive Canadian Dist for Bel) will not be getting the Bel STI-R Plus. And have not had stock on this item for over a year.

No, I prefer spending my money on a company that actually listens to the consumers... I would have at one point, but there is now a viable alternative soon to hit market so I don't have to deal with the muck that is Belscort.
