You know there is a coincidence when V1 comes to the table.

So you think it'll be 2-3 years before Belscort catches up or 2014?

Looks like an impressive unit. Still, if I were going to move to anything, would be STiR Plus.

I think THE question is why no arrows from Belscort yet??

In order to accurately detect the signal's location, at least two horns would be needed, right? I presume one in the front and one in the rear would work the best as the DSP determines what horn's signal is stronger and what 180 degree side between the two horns has the stronger signal, correct?

Sti Magnum is now available for pre-orders for radarbusters.com we don't have it in our warehouse directly, which is why it says AVAILABLE to order. This item won't ship till the end of September, give me a call and trust me you won't regret waiting the little extra time it will take to get it from us.

You know i was one of the early buyers of the Sti with the A2 software version and that dam thing gave my Sti-R a run for its money on K band and was very close on Ka... of course it was unusuable on the freeway in the US because of all the falsing.

Contemplating a 60% performance bump would make it .... wow you'd have to run C in any kind of K and X environment

The Magnum will perform close to the RedLine but not quite as well.

As everyone else, I can't wait for the next GoL test!

Thanks Larry we are NOW looking forward to performing a test since so many goodies got released. We were sort of dragging our feet because of two reasons:

    1) finding the right course to test radar can be a real pain

    2) nothing new was out so we did not want to test the same old.

This time around it will be the test of the top dogs. I am looking SO FORWARD to it and hopefully this time I will not be a bonehead and let a V1 with Ka guard off be tested. That was completely my fault.
But we would still like to see what a New V-1 3.891 will do with KA gaurd off as well--

I got charged today on my debit card for my upgrade, so the Magnum should be on it's way back home soon.

I was thinking about purchasing a redline. I would have been upset if I had. I like my STI which is also at Beltronics getting the upgrade. I can't wait to get it back.

Just wondering why testing the v1 with ka gaurd off would be a bad thing? Doesn't it improve ka detection?
