    Default Which type of RJ plug?

    I cut the receiver extension wire.I need to replace the plug end that goes to the interface.Which type? Thanks

    4 wire RJ11. It's what most telephones use.

    RJ11 cords and inline connectors are available at RadioShack. Staples and Best Buy don't have much any more in the way of accessories for corded phones as everything is bluetooth, cordless, wifi, satellite etc etc etc. Sometimes the Shack can be a saving grace.

    be careful - not all RJ11's are the same. Don't ask me how I know this But, there are narrow versus one's that are wide. You need the narrow ones. Radio shack didn't have the narrow ones. the sold me the wide ones.

    Yeah, I believe the correct ones for beltronics are incorrectly called RJ9's sometimes.
