Blinder M-40's Keep Buzzing....

I have had my blinders since May 2006 with no problems and just the other day I went to turn them on and the buzzing would not stop. It was continuous without any pauses until I would shut them off. They use to beep when I first turned them on then again after 30 sec. (testing phase). It has gotten cold here in Connecticut and not sure if that has something to do with it. I was thinking about maybe disconnecting the battery cable and reconnecting it to see if it would reset them or something. Has this happened to anyone or does anyone know any solution to this problem.

My M-20 hasn't done anything out of the ordinary even though it's gotten colder... I'm in Norwalk, btw, and it was 30 degrees the other night.

Yeah I didn't think it could be from the cold. Here is what Radar Roy told me to do....

Check your cables and connections, if they look good unplug each one to
find the head that has the problem.

If you can then isolate the head that has the problem check the cable
for any breaks and make sure that the lens is clean.

I will have to do this and see if I can find the head that is causing the problem. Will report back on my findings.

Hey solar. I have been installing some M45 and M25 units and the same thing happened to me. I just let Leon no about. But for me it has only happened the first time it's been installed and then it does not do it again.

If it does it again get a remote and shoot it at one of the heads. I think it fixes it.

Well I plugged each jammer individually into the unit and tested each one. I did find a bad one and will be taking it out and sending it to Leon who said he would replace it for me as I have my receit.

I have the same problem with mine. they are unusable.

Since it got cold here, my Blinder M20s have alarmed continuously. It's warmed up a bit, but now they won't shut up. I expect some internal component failed in the cold weather.
