Blinder Ticket Rebate program and DYI

If doing the Blinder install myself, will it be covered under the Ticket Rebate program they offer???

I don't think DYI is covered, but Blinder has been known to look past this, plus Blinder-Guy has taken care of me on a number of occasions.

I don't think they give forum members a hard time when it comes to DIY. 90% of the time DIY ends up being a million times better than what the 'pros' do...

x2, Leon told me if you send pictures to him (of your install) they will decide whether or not your install is eligible)... and since 90% of our installs are better then the pros (as Staton notes)... we shouldn't have a problem....

Are there any of you guys that are good at installs near Greensboro NC ?
I have been too lazy to mess with mine so far. Now that the weather is getting better I may get around to it but would rather sub it out to someone whos done it before and knows how to do it right.

The only install I have seen that it was a DIY that was turned down was a guy sent pictures to us and he had used velcro to mount the heads to the inside of the car to the headliner facing out the front windows.....

It's pretty sad when a REALLY $h1tty DIY where the blinder wasn't even TURNED ON during a laser encounter the ticket rebate program was honored...and this guy got pwn3d lol
