Blinder wiring problem

Hey Guys,

I recently noticed that one of my heads was not funtioning properly. After further inspection yesterday, one of the wires leading to one of my heads was pinched and partially torn. Would Blinder help me out replacing the wire for free or cost. Also, has anyone tried reconnecting these wires. I'm an electrical engineer and pretty handy with a soldering iron and dont see why this wouldn't work.

Assuming nothing was seriously damaged, reconnecting it with solder should work just fine. I would cut out the entire area where the pinch occured just to be safe.
I've tried this with the LI and it works just fine, both during testing, and in the field.

Very good! If blinder can't help with with replacement, then I will go this route.

Blinder won't/can't do anything about a damaged wire since there is no manufacturing/repair facility in the US. They can only offer to sell you a new head.
